A room dedicated to Jean Degottex was inaugurated at the Centre Pompidou, as part of the permanent collections. It presents a selection of works by Degottex from the museum’s collection, and gives an overview of the artist’s career from the 1950s, when he was discovered by André Breton, to the 1970s, when his work turned towards materialist and analytical painting.
