The Alexis Lartigue Fine Art Gallery presents a solo exhibition by Jean Degottex entitled “Jean Degottex, Signe, Écriture, Ligne”. The exhibition brings together a selection of thirteen works by the artist, belonging to emblematic series such as the Vagues, Écritures, or Horsphères. 

The exhibition « The Shape of Freedom: International Abstraction after 1945 » at the Museum Barberini, Postdam, focuses on the two most important currents of abstraction after the World War II: Abstract Expressionism in the United States and Art Informel in western Europe.

Jean Degottex’ committee and the Artist’s Estate are pleased to announce their collaboration with Kamel Mennour.

Previous stories of surrealism have focused on Paris in the 1920s. Based on extensive research, this exhibition will reach across the world and over 50 years. It will show how artists around the world have been inspired and united by surrealism – from centres as diverse as Buenos Aires, Cairo, Lisbon, Mexico City, Prague, Seoul, and Tokyo.

The exhibition Calder, Soulages, Vasarely… Plural Abstractions (1950-1980) takes place at the Musée d’art de Pully from March 2 to November 21, 2021.
